On the hunt for their first win, Manning and the Giants were handed just the opposite on Soldier Field in Chicago Thursday night.
Just 44 seconds into the game, Manning was off and running with his first interception and again with just under ten minutes to go in the first for a pick 6 to make it 14-7 in favor of the home team.
Bringing the game within just 6 in the fourth, Eli began to stage a come back drive down the field with a nickel under two minutes to go before a hopeful first down pass went straight through the hands of tight end, Brandon Myers.
“We’re all sick of it,” coach Tom Coughlin said. “We’re all sick of losing, but we put ourselves in this position. There is only one way to get out of it.”
Their next game is on the October 21st, at home vs. Adrian Peterson and the Minnesota Vikings for Monday Night Football.
