The undefeated Kansas City Chiefs came into Sunday Night’s game against the Denver Broncos with a target on their back and boy did Peyton Manning strike bullseye.
After a week of rest, future Hall of Famer quarterback Peyton Manning, showed no signs of any leftover ankle pain or soreness as he went 24 for 40, throwing for 323 yards and 1 TD in the Broncos 27-17 victory.
Rookie Montee Ball, out of Wisconsin, also pitched in with 2 TDs of his own in addition to Knowshon Moreno’s 79 rushing yards.
Both teams move to 9-1 as the Chiefs look ahead to face the Chargers at home next week and the Broncos to battle Tom Brady and the 7-2 Patriots.
