The NBA not treading lightly, have charged Miami Heat guard, Mario Chalmers, with a flagrant 1 after initially calling a common foul in Thursday’s game and are now as a result fining him 15k for his forearm to the throat violation against Clipper big man, Blake Griffin.
Chalmers pleaded his case to the officials after the call that the foul was in no way intentional, but after further review and investigation by the league- the fine was given.
