After star quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, left the game in the middle of the opening Packers’ drive due to a left shoulder injury, it was up to back up Seneca Wallace and the rest of the men in green and yellow to carry their team to victory, Monday night, against the visiting and long time rival, Chicago Bears.
The wind was blowing a different direction in Green Bay, as both teams stepped onto Lambeau battle field without keys warriors; the Bears without Cutler and the Packers again without the heavy defensive presence of Clay Matthews, before little did they know down went Rodgers indefinitely as well. The injured list went on for the home team, but with a Bears team hungry for a win, they had no time waste.
It was a battle of the back up QBs, as Jay Crown came out on top for the Bears, throwing for 272 yards and 2 TDs, giving Chicago their 5th win of the season 27-20 and finally snapping a 6-game losing streak against the Packers since 2007.
As Rodgers return is without a timetable, Wallace and the Pack look ahead to comeback next week against the visiting Philadelphia Eagles.
