“Better safe than sorry” are the Bulls organization since having their star point guard, Derrick Rose back in the almighty black and red uniform.
After having missed Sunday’s overseas game in Rio de Janeiro, also the home of the 2016 Summer Olympics, due to tender and soreness in his recently recovered left knee, Rose ran through all of Monday’s team practice and is set to play Wednesday in the preseason home opener.
“My knee was good,” Rose said. “I never was worried about it. I could have played but the front office made a decision to sit me out. My health is the number one [concern].”
The Bulls will host the Detroit Pistons, Wednesday night at 8pm ET/5 Pacific.
