So close to the World Series,
They are left wanting so much more.
Hanley pushing through the injury,
Puig & Gonzo with the big bats just the night before,
Igniting the crowd, helping keep their foot in the door.
Matt Holliday snapped his slump,
Homer in the third to bring in the runner and be half the team total of four.
For the boys in blue it’s never just a game,
Its a legacy,
As Game 5 they look to come back as something you won’t be able to ignore.
