Trailblazers Lead the Way- Hand Pacers Second Loss of the Season

With a seven-game win streak and the best record in the league, the Pacers go into every night knowing there’s a target on their back for which they are the team to beat; however with Paul George’s career night- putting up 43 points, dicing out 3 assists, rebounds, and steals- combining with his fellow band of brothers also contributing with their own nightly numbers… they didn’t see this coming.

A trip to Portland to face the Trailblazers meant just that to the men in red and black, as LaMarcus Aldridge took charge, dishing out a dominant 28 points and 10 rebounds, along side point guard Damian Lillard’s decisive 26 points of his own to blaze the trail for a statement victory against Indiana, Monday night.

“It was a tough one, and we knew it was going to be a tough one going in,” Lillard said. “They’re a good team; they only had one loss. But we’re a good team, too, and we wanted to prove that.”

Portland now moves to 15-3, as their early season success sparks talks of where they stand as a contender in the league.
